Fog on the Tyne more like wind on the Tyne

What a really long day I've had. It started off with what I thought was a technology workshop with one of our product supplies in Burton-on-Trent. How wrong I was, it was like a sale pitch with loads of other companies there. The day dragged but luckily I had to get away a 3pm to get my train to Newcastle.

I down loaded the IT crowd the other day so I watched it on the train. Whilst on the train the weather was awful but it rolled into Newcastle about 7pm. I'm told lots of train services have been cancelled, I hope I can get back home on Friday???? When the train got to Darlington and then Durham hundreds of Newcastle fans got on. I don't think they will be happy as they are losing 4-0.

My hotel is on the Tyne (pic) and its got a little gym so I went for an 8km run on the matchine before I went to the hotel resturant.

I got in the resturant at 8:45 and I hate eating late. I had vegetable soup starter and pan fried trout with Mediterranean vegetables and sauted potatoes which was really nice.

I'm now in bed watching tv and listening to the wind blowing outside.
