CWDM & DWDM

Woke up this morning with the view of the Tyne in Newcastle (pic).

My course started at 9.30am and it was a day teaching us about corse wave division multiplexing (CWDM) and dense wave division multiplexing (DWDM). Granted it sounds boring and it was. To be fair it wasn't that bad and I did learn quite at lot. On a plus point the course will finish at midday tomorrow so, weather permitting, I can get an early train back home.

After the course I went in the gym and run another 8km. That's 3 days on the trot I've run 8km.

Tonight I went out for something to eat and drink in Newcastle with people on the course. I had my first beer of 2014 tonight. Granted I only had 3 bottles of necks all night but we did have a curry which was nice. This is my first night in 6weeks I've broke my diet, but a tree now and then won't kill me.

Nite to myself: I must organise a lads night out in Newcastle in 2014.
