A little blue on a stormy day.

I have not ventured out today so this is the best I could get taken from the bedroom window.

Driving rain all morning and so dark that I needed the lights on ! Then this afternoon for all of about 5 mins a small patch of blue sky blown in on the wind, before the dark clouds came in again and the really strong winds arrived with more rain.

Roof tiles have been ripped of neighbours house and bins have been flying up the street.

I had thought about going out to capture an image of the storm but decided that it was sensible to stay indoors.

I hope that people up and down the country have been able to stay safe today even if a lot have not been able to stay dry.
