Redpole
Well it was lovely to wake to blue sky’s and nice to get out for some fresh air this morning.
Knowing that footpaths would be very muddy I decided to go over to Tittersworth Reservoir, and there were quite a few people with the same idea.
After the walk I spent some time in the bird hide watching the tufted ducks diving, a lone oyster catcher was perched on a metal pipe that is sticking out of the centre of the small lake to the side of the reservoir, and to the side of me the little woodland birds were busy feeding on the seed that someone had put out for them.
Sitting in the hide I could see the Roaches one of my favourite places to walk, I have many photos of them and decided today to concentrate on capturing the wildlife.
I think this is my favourite a Redpole in its vibrant spring colours.
