Robin

As I opened the gate at the start of my morning walk this robin greeted me, I stood and watched it get closer and closer to me until it was perched on the top of the gate I had just gone though.  As it was so bold and friendly I offered it some sunflower seeds in my hand and was rewarded with it landing and eating the seed from my hand.  


I really wished I could have taken a photo of it happily perched on my hand but it was so close that had I lifted my camera the 300mm lens would have been touching its beak !!
