Digitaldaze goes to market
A quick trip to the market with digitaldaze after gym. I didn't have much time, so wasn't able to explore it at length, but she intended to go back later for a wander round. This was our friendly fruit seller, then we went to visit the popular Thiago, at the veg stall. He was surrounded by ladies as always and only had time for a 'bonjour', quickly amended to 'good morning', but we were well attended to by his father, Carlitos. He not being quite as photogenic as the fruit seller (he's a lovely man, but not long on looks), decided against the shot of him with dd.
Phone call to say my lenses are ready for collection. Tried sobbing a bit to get the price down, but was told that one of them is a 'rarity', as it's the original Minolta lens from nearly 30 years ago.
Exciting news on the house we're buying in the UK for our younger daughter to live in - completion hopefully in a couple of weeks, and they should then be able to move in over the weekend. Plenty of room for a family of four, plus her mother-in-law who's heading over to joint them at the end of March. Hmmm.
Lunch at one of Rio's 'by the kilo' restaurants (wide choice of dishes and you pay by the weight on your plate), then chores like the bank, collecting things etc. Back to my translation, then off shortly to the cardio for a check-up, followed by choir. So getting my blip in early, for once.
