Top of the hill
The walkers went to the “Sticky Forest” today ‘Cos it was going to be a hottie and all the trees offered shade. It was a slightly confusing walk ‘Cos everyone had different opinions on where we should go. Frankly I didn’t care at all as any walk is a good walk but many folk thought we should go right when we were going left and others thought we should be going up when we were going down and as for direction, that was as bad as an election with fears that all may be lost. The one thing mostly everyone agreed on was the Coffee stop and I missed that ‘Cos The Boss took me home to the cooler house and even that was confused ‘Cos they (The unnamed blokes with large smelly tar trucks), were re-sealing the lakefront road and detours were the word of the day.
This spot was on the top of the hill outside the Sticky Forest and no, I have no idea why it is called that but it is full of Pine trees.
The lovely “J” was admiring the stunning view so the Boss did his iPhone thing carefully avoiding my head and the view is a near 180. Lake Wanaka can be seen in front and a bit of the outlet. Yes the hills are looking a bit dry and getting bark to the cars was a hottie too.
Thank you all for your support of “Sisters” yesterday. I am still seeing stars
