Icey water

These ducks were putting on a little show for me today. The lake was mostly frozen but they knew exactly where to go to get into the water. It made me smile to see how they waddled on the ice, following each other and lifting one webbed foot then the other.
It was freezing cold while I was there at the lake and seeing the ducks glide into the icy water made me shiver. I have yet to manage to use my camera with gloves on. When I got back in the car, my hands were so cold. More snow is coming tomorrow but only a few inches are expected. It doesn’t really matter much now since we have so much snow already on the ground. A few more inches won’t make much difference. It just means more shoveling.
I had wanted to see a movie tonight if I can brave the cold again. The Monuments Men has just come out and it looks good. Until then, it is time to sit by the fire and have some tea. Just 39 more days until spring! Enjoy your weekend!
