Laundry Day

I spent most of my day playing the role of the domestic goddess so you are getting a peak at one of the things I did today. Laundry. I believe this qualifies as an emergency blip since I’m sure the sight of my washer and dryer is not too exciting for most of you.
Some days are just like that though. You wake up and get busy and before you know it, the sun is going down. I remember when I first started doing Blip and I was sitting watching TV at the end of the day when I realized I hadn’t taken a photo. I jumped up and ran out of the room. I returned with my flash card in hand ready to pop into my laptop. My husband asked me where I disappeared to and I explained I had forgotten to Blip. He rolled his eyes at me. I think I took a photo of my fruit bowl on the table but it was bright and colorful. I can’t say that about my washing machine and dryer I’m afraid. Still, it does represent a part of my day today. Even though the creative juices aren’t always flowing, I’m grateful to have the discipline that Blip gives me to keep a record of my day. I also get a kick out of seeing other people’s emergency blips.

My husband is one of my biggest fans now by the way. No more eye rolling!
