Contemporary or just ugly?

Although we had a workshop last Monday evening (the studio lighting session) Monday coming is the Groups normal monthly meeting. The challenge this month is " Contemporary", now the above is a section of the new development of York University. I have here I think captured the modern but not the starkness of the rest of the site, or is it just my age and the fact I spent many of my formative years in the beautiful and historic University City of Cambridge!
