Wood Aconites

I have been trying all week to catch my favourite spring flower with its petals open! I have given up hope of there being enough sun at the right time of day to fall on these little beauties let alone me being there to capture it! I therefore give you Eranthis hyemalis The Wood Aconite, with just a chink of an opening!

PS appears I got the date wrong for the Mills Snowdrop Open Garden, so I might get to blip it next Sunday!
