Scissor Happy

We were up at 6am this morning to drive up North to visit Alan's mum. We needed to get an early start as we're only here overnight and it's a 4 hour journey on a good day, so if we left too late, it wouldn't have been worth coming.

Also Rachel told me that she'd booked Scarlett in for her first hair cut at 12pm and asked if I'd like to go with them if we arrived early enough. Fortunately we made it in time, and Alan dropped me off at Rachel's, and then he went to his mum dad's. Scarlett was really good and sat in the chair on a big cushion with a full size gown on, she looked so cute! I think she was quite interested in everything that was going on around her, and the hairdresser was really nice with her. She also gave Rachel some of the hair that she'd cut off, so that we can keep her first locks. You can see Rachel's blip here.

When she was finished, Rachel dropped me off at Alan's parents and she brought Scarlett in to see them before she went home for her nap. We're staying here for the afternoon and then going to Rachel's to spend some time with Scarlett before she goes to bed. We're staying in a hotel tonight as we didn't want to trouble his mum, but she's asked if Louis can stay with them as she enjoys him being there, so we'll see her in the morning before we head home.
