when life gives you snow ...

i was thinking of the old saying - when life gives you lemons ... except in our case, it's been the fluffy white stuff (snow!) and lots of it. i can't remember a year where we've had as much snow (continuous) as we've had this winter. we're supposed to get more snow this weekend. i've been hearing a lot of adults complaining about how they're sick of snow already and as an adult, i can understand the sentiment. but i'm also glad to see our son happily playing in the snow. he's old enough now that he doesn't need my help if he decides to make a snowman or a fort. here he is putting the finishing touches on a very happy snowman.
