snowy river

because of blip i've been taking my camera with me whenever i go out (most of the time anyway ;-). i've been wanting to shoot some winter river water scenes. but of course i forgot to take the tripod. plus i had the lens without the ND filter (oh well). fortunately, my camera has excellent in-body image stabilization. which enabled me to take this shot handheld against a fence for almost a full second. i have to say i'm pretty happy with the result. it's slightly overexposed but i actually like the lighting effect on the scene.
