A cosy corner

Friday!

Another very productive day at the office, though I had to blow my clients out and leave my colleagues to host the delicious lunch I had been looking forward to. Eh well.

I didn't really see the outdoors today, which is why I've blipped my sitting room. This is a favourite corner of my house, perfected this week by some pretty tulips.

I'm girding my loins for cake making tonight. Nigella's chocolate and Guinness cake. Mmmm. But I'm so tired I could easily retire to bed right now (7pm!) and I've got work again tomorrow. Boo hiss. Still I'm looking forward to catching up with more old friends tomorrow evening and Sunday. All good.
