Why Are We Waiting!

Had a text message through late last night to say school would be closed today due to road closures. The 1st Dubai Cycle Race was crisscrossing the city and the traffic polices wanted all school buses well and truly grounded!

Good news for me! I did have a tutoring session at 3pm though out at the meadows and trusted that most of the roads would be back to normal by then. Wishful thinking on my part! 30 mins into my journey and I was held up in a line of traffic wanting to turn left!

I think we all felt a bit like this man behind who I captured in my side mirror!!
Not sure how much the lady in the taxi alongside me was going to have to pay for her fare!! And you can guarantee, with little ones in the car, one of them is bound to need to spend a penny.

It was all happening on the beach road today!
