Stormy Sky in Seaford!

I went to the French group this morning as usual, and I told them about the situation with the job, because if I do get it, today would be my last class. So I said to our teacher, that I'll phone her if I get offered it, but if she hears nothing then I'll be there next week.

Then this afternoon I met Chrissy and we went to Tide Mills and walked along the coastal path to Seaford. Tide Mills is a derelict village which consisted of a large mill and cottages for the workers. The Mill stopped working in 1900 and the village was condemned as unfit for habitation in 1936, but it accommodated Canadian troops in the Second World War. Now there are just the remains visible.

It was a very blustery walk and the sea was very rough, and although it was sunny, there was a very threatening sky as you can see. When we got to Seaford we sat and had a hot chocolate at a beach cafe before heading back. I didn't plan on blipping beach huts again, but I love their bright colours against the stormy sky, and it's SOOC.

I think the storm is going to hit us properly during the night with lots of rain and gale force winds forecast for tomorrow, so those of you that are affected, stay safe!
