Emergency Beach Blip

It's been a full on day today, with a trip to the supermarket followed by Zumba this morning, then home for a quick shower and lunch before heading over to Lancing for my interview.

I was quite nervous as it's the first interview I've had in over 6 years, but when I arrived I was met by a big chocolate Labrador which was a nice start. I was told it's the office dog who also takes care of Health & Safety issues lol! Anyway it seemed to like me and everyone seemed very friendly .

I feel that the interview went well, and they're looking for the new employee to start next Monday, so said that they'll be making a decision very soon. Although it's only part time hours, the downside is that the job is Monday to Friday so it'll restrict me from being able to go to the French and walking groups, but the upside is that it's only 9am-2pm, so I'd have my afternoons free. Also they're moving to new offices at Brighton Marina at the end of the month, so the location couldn't be better, but I'll just have to wait and see what happens. At least I'll know within the next few days, and I think it would be a nice place to work.

When I'd finished, I met up with my friends Kate and Karen from the walking group for a hot chocolate at a cafe nearby, and then went in search of a blip. I noticed these beach huts, so parked the car nearby and wandered onto the beach as the sun was setting, but for the first time ever, there was no memory card in my camera! I therefore had to resort to my iPhone, but I don't think it's too bad.

The sea was quite rough and the wind is building up with gales forecast again - roll on Spring!
