Storm Clouds before the Rain

With the forecast of rain today I was out early this morning. As you can see the clouds were ominous as the rain approached and not to disappoint the rain arrived just as I got home. And it hasn't stopped. Doesn't look that good for the next few days....grrr!

I had noticed some marks on my recent photos indicating dust has got in again. Last time this happened I sent it away and it cost £70.00 to have it cleaned. I found a video on You Tube showing you how to take it all apart to clean the internal lenses and the sensor. It came with a health warnings. The video lasts half an hour. Four hours later I eventually got it all back together. The good news is that it worked first time and the offending marks are gone. There are many parts to the zoom section of my lens and they go together in an intricate way. At one stage I did get very worried for a while. Would I do it again - probably not!
