You Can Run But You Can't Hide

B is for Blur, Radial or Zoom Blur.

That's two challenges satisfied again today. I wonder how long I will be able to keep this up?

Radial blur applied in Photoshop. Simply don't have the time to play with camera and tripod today to do it in camera, but I do want to give it a go sometime. I've even brought an ND filter so that I can use a slow shutter speed in bright conditions.

Oh what a disappointment the rugby was yesterday. We went in at half time 16-3 down having had most of the possession. We clawed our way back to a lead albeit a small one and what happens, we let France score in the dying minutes of the game and lose 26-24! It's always tough being an England supporter in any sport, but rugby more than anything else I know has a habit of ending this way.

Family round for dinner in the evening. Very nice but how did we manage to drink so much wine after several beers watching the rugby? I think it might have been the ladies.

Technical Notes

Radial blur (zoom, best quality and 50%) was applied to the corridor. Matthew was excluded from the radial blur. To get the sense of movement for him, I copied him 3 times and placed each copy slightly back and up from the previous one. The opacity of each copy was reduced in turn from 60% thru to 20%, so 60%, 40% and 20% on the final copy.
