Finds

I'm sure everyone is sick and tired of hearing about the weather, the wind and rain, the endless gales and high tides, the barriers being closed and the ferries cancelled, so I'll just say that today it was another of those days and so I've had to resort to an emergency blip!

Every time I go down onto the shore or dig in the garden I'm on the look out for bottles and jars. More often than not all I find are little pieces of broken pottery, but over the years Mike and I have gathered together this windowsill full.

So glad I didn't bother washing the salt spray off the windows as they are now streaming with sleet! That would have been a wasted effort!
