Nearly . . .

We bought this amaryllis in Lidl a few weeks ago, just starting into growth, and here is it, about to flower already!  

Not a day for taking photos outside - the gales have come with a vengeance!  Sense prevailed and I decided not to risk the cliffs, instead Ollie and I settled for a road walk.  The wind was ferocious, it really did take your breath away, and heading into it you were bent double with the effort.   Sadly still no sign of snow . . . !
