Spring Cleaning

This morning I called in on a friend who was busy spring cleaning her holiday house, ready for the first visitors of the season. It does take a lot of work, during the season it gets a thorough clean every Saturday between one lot of guests leaving and the next lot arriving, but it does always look lovely.

During the night I woke up and couldn't work out what was the matter - something was different - then I realised what it was, the wind had dropped, very strange after weeks of gales! Today, instead, we had sleet showers . . . .!
