Australia Day

26th January is Australia Day so Sydney is full of little festival areas and people dressed very patriotically. I thought this lady captures it really well! Her and her family thought it was hilarious that I asked for a photo. We had a wander round Hyde Park and a vintage car carnival, then through the botanical gardens and had a coffee in the rain with Ibis birds and Indian Miner birds. We also stopped by The Art Gallery of New South Wales and saw a nice Gormley sculpture, some famous paintings (I think?!) and some aboriginal art. We are now in the airport about to fly to Brisbane, I'm so excited to get there! It'll be such a relief to be able to unpack properly and have some of my own space! Also it's going to be hotter and less rainy so I can finally start work on my tan!!!
