Have been on a wine tour of Hunter Valley today, trying wines from 5 different wineries (35+ wines). I think I learnt a lot, I certainly really enjoyed it! We mainly went to the smaller places, but passed Lindemans which you've probably heard of. The valley only produces a tiny amount of the country's wine, and even the bigger companies are just small branches. Hunter Valley is another beautiful area, with loads of rainforest and farm land. On the way home we stopped at a place known for its wild kangaroos, in the grounds of a mental institution. There must have been well over 50 kangaroos just hanging around and sunbathing. Found this fella with a Joey in her pouch, you can see it's leg sticking out! Got some clearer photos on my camera burn I haven't sorted my iPad/camera system yet so this will have to do.
