The next morning...

...same viewpoint-- from my front deck... at 29ºF (-1.6ºC) at 7:30 a.m. The fog has lifted but ice and black ice is everywhere on the roads and walking surfaces. Weather warning for travelers for another hour or so. I took one step out the front door and nearly landed on my keester.

The sunrise is captured & refllected within the many ice particles is my scientific guess.
