Early Squirrel

First he/she jumps up into the seed feeder, then waits for the shower of sunflower seeds before enjoying a leisurely early breakfast.
Yesterday the thaw erased the snow for the most part. The black ice was gone before noon and everything looked promising. Although a friendly blipper pointed out that the bright pick sunrise could bring a new Shepherds storm... well, yes. Only about 2 inches.
Of course the squirrels need to get out of their warm nests once in a while. This was witnessed just before sunrise when no person (or cat) would interrupt. Caught the little rodent posing in front of my bedroom window.
