The Birds

After an early morning walk at the beach with Louis, I went to the French Group and then for lunch at the Marina with my friend Barbara. I've not seen her since before Christmas so it was nice to catch up. It was really sunny and there people actually sat outside eating - I don't think it was warm enough for that, but after lunch I decided to have a walk around the Marina looking for a blip.

I then decided to walk into town to watch the murmuration of starlings. There are literally thousands of starlings that gather under the Pier - the sound of them is incredible, and as soon as the sun starts to set they start flying around in huge groups. It's an amazing sight but they're very fast and it's difficult to capture them, so it would be better to view this large.

On my way home the Fox crossed the road in front of my car - yet another sighting when I couldn't get a photo of him!
