Duke's Pass

One of the best scenic routes in Scotland, if not the UK , is the road from Aberfoyle towards the Trossachs and Loch Katrine, known as the Duke's Pass. The road, frequently closed in winter, twists and turns through a wooded landscape and offers fine views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
It was not I'm afraid at its scenic best today, as, although the weather promised much, the rain started as we reached the road from the Aberfoyle forest tracks and a rather soggy image resulted.
