Tay Bridge

It was a grey and miserable day in Dundee today - the Tay was hardly the silvery Tay of McGonagall's poem and a good picture of the bridge was difficult to get. This is the centre of the current bridge and the supports below are the supports of the original bridge which collapsed in the Tay Bridge disaster, well documented in John Prebbles' book " The High Girders"
Things were slightly brighter at Tannadice Park where Hibs and Dundee Utd played out a 2-2 draw, a result probably right despite us losing 2 goals in the final 7 minutes.
We are improving in small steps.
