"Supercook"

"Supercook" was a collection of recipes built up through a weekly publication and then stored in a ready made binder. It was published in the late seventies in the days before celebrity chefs, Ready Steady Cook and nouvelle cuisine and contains recipes which blend traditional with what was modern at the time. Mrs Ken 34 has the complete set of something like 8 volumes and the recipes are occasionally put to use. This is one which has stood the test of time. It is called Poulet a la Provencale ...chicken with a sauce of mushrooms,tomatoes, black olives and, interestingly anchovies.
