My life in blips

Fresh From The Mire

After church this morning, we headed over to Callendar Park for a dog walk. We met up with Euber's neice and husband and Dexter dog. Great walk up the back of the park where the dogs ran and ran, leapt and leapt, and chased and chased. MP is now sleeping - in fact I can actually her snoring as I type! It was not a walk for the glamorous - mud, waterproof trousers, waterproof jackets, hats and puddles.

Tomorrow sees the start of a new term. Bag is packed, diary gone over, emails checked and as up to date as can be. Alarm set, showing a strange digit I don't recall - I think it is '6'. Running stuff looked out too (yes, I know, yet another return to running!!!).

Had final Christmas food binge tonight before salad replaces the festive diet of the last month. One of my neighbours kindly left a large slice of their Christmas cake tied to the door handle - it's now gone - helped down by a mug of coffee. I am full to bursting yet again - however, that's the last time for this festive period. Phew!
