Hail!

I bring you high tides and..

Oh no, hang on, that was last week.

An extreme storm at lunchtime, which the dog and I got caught in. Thunder, lightening and enormous hail stones that were seriously painful when scoring a direct hit. The dog was yelping! - I was somewhat braver.

The lanes became lethal as it was like driving on ball bearings. There were cars and vans sliding and getting stuck on even small inclines.

Main Roads were closed as numerous accidents occurred.

The hail stones are still settled a couple of inches thick across my drive and garden.
