Reality?

When I took this, I knew exactly where the real trees and water were. Looking at it now it is a real puzzle. Also, the software on my computer wants me to tag the face it has found in the bottom left hand corner. Spooky!

In reality….. this was taken in a flooded area at the end of the lake where the main river piles over a waterfall and into the reservoir that is Lake Vyrnwy. There is a 12 mile beautiful lake road which was practically deserted this morning as we drove round it before setting off on our journey home.

I was amazed to discover that it took two years to fill the lake with water, flooding the village of Llanwyddan including 3 pubs. The church and graveyard were relocated to higher ground behind the hotel we stayed in last night.

A fascinating and beautiful place.
