A MIMent In Time

By justmim

Final full day in Edinburgh before going home and the beginning of really starting to 'feel Christmassy'.

Traditional carol service in the morning was lovely and a chance afterwards to catch-up with a few people and deliver cards etc. before going away. Then the afternoon was spent mostly packing up and getting things ready for home.

The candlelit carol service (or carol-lit candle service as I may have referred to it once or twice!) was the one that I had been looking forward to, having never been to it in my 4+ years at CC. So Mary, Michelle and I (yup, Miriam, how's that for a friendship of alliteration?!) arranged to get there early and seated ourselves at the front of the balcony. It was a wonderful end to another year in CC :)

As the buses were few and far between I decided to walk home, it was a nice surprise then when I bumped into Cam and Jonathan who were walking in the same direction. I really don't mind walking alone, however it is always better with company.

The weather was fairly grim so it was back to my flat to put the heating on in hopes of drying out my coat while packing up my bags and checking travel updates. Home was calling!
