Home comforts

Wonderful!

After a late night up packing I had expected getting up at 5am to be much more painful than it was. Excitement for going home and not wanting to miss my train had obviously kicked in as it proved to be much easier than some recent university mornings!

The weather forecast was pretty grim and so I was well aware that delays were possible. However, once I had got myself to the train there was little that I could do about any of it so there was no option but to sit back, relax and enjoy the journey. It turned out to be remarkably straightforward and I was home in time for lunch :)

The afternoon was spent in Welshpool and at Coed-Y-Dinas (always a must while I'm at home) before an evening in front of the fire with books and my cross-stitch. Entertainment provided by Daniel, as ever!

Incredibly thankful for such a straightforward journey meaning that I could spend most of the day just being at home.
