Calling it a day

Ugh. I really hate all my photos. They're just piggin' awful.
I suppose going to a cloudy beach just before dark, without a clue how to take nighttime photos, may have something to do with it.

The day started well though. It was sunny and gentle, and the birds were singing. I should have thought about getting my camera out earlier.

We said goodbye to our guests, then I got started on the washing. I waited around for someone to come and fit a valve to our hot water tank but they never came. (We got a phone call later to say they'd got the wrong valve.) Tess and I made invitations for her birthday next week and then I looked up prices for getting our cooker repaired... Ouch...

There's some seriously bad weather on the way apparently. I hope everyone stays safe and the sea doesn't claim anymore victims.
