Bedtime read

We are enjoying the narnia collection. But every day so far, she's fallen asleep in my arms as I read. We read it second after the usual chosen bedtime story. But she is taking it in as she knew the things that had happened so far when we chatted tonight!

Busy day- her and I went swimming. She made it expressly clear that she did not want to go in the big pool but when she was in the little pool she did some fantastic swimming. Her front crawl has really come on. After a swim we headed to meet Brooke and her parents so the girls could have a charge round the soft play together. They were very excited to see each other and swap Christmas gifts.

Lunch and play done, it was a few hours of nursery for little miss while mummy got a few work bits out of the way. They have a new chef at nursery. The last one was a very soft, very kid friendly cook, who has now retired. The new guy is a chef. The children apparently are slightly rebelling to the style change. Apparently it took 15 minutes to convince them to try fish pie when it had sweet potato mash on the top. There was great dissent at the fact the soup for tea had bits in today. Katie said she wanted Rose's soup back!

She ate a huge bowl of spaghetti when she got home, before falling asleep to the adventures of Digory and Polly in the Magicians Nephew.
