Late afternoon at water's edge...

We are past the shortest day now, but the days still feel very short and some days when the skies are grey it almost seems as if the day never gets properly light at all.
Today it was quite bright for a while, and we went for a walk mid-afternoon but darkness was falling as we got back home. This shot was taken at about 16.15pm in the afternoon....
