New Year's Eve. Made a HUGE batch of kinkan marmalade (again!) and decided to toss the survivors into the bath. Why not? I'm waiting to hear the kids as they lift the bath lid. Hahahaha...

Well, in Japan, we are at New Year's Eve. Traditional soba/ebi dinner, and then I will hike downriver to Murakami Jinja and stand by the bonfire with a group of aged Japanese gents, and then it will be 2014 and I will come home and sleep like a stone. Wake early and have fresh marmalade (with osechi ryori)!!!
