Shokyu Jinja

Last sampo of the year...stopped by Shokyu Shrine to see how they get up for the new year's festivities. Will (maybe) hit the little Murakami Shrine on my side of the river this year instead. Murakami has a nice roaring bonfire and they pass out free sake, so it's kind of a no-brainer :-). Maybe a dozen people or so, tiny place, all old, old-timers. Like I said, maybe...it's 2 degrees out and windy. Makes for a chilly walk down the riv and back. But with a small bit of sake....
