Rocky Road

No 1 was working all day, No 2 headed off to the Sales which left Mr S, Wee Weegie and me to nip into Princes Street to exchange some gifts.

Mr S says he can't ever find jeans to fit anymore (a bit more girth these days!), I bought him a pair of Levi's as a surprise Christmas present....of course he hated them, said they were too baggy round the bum and flappy round the legs.

We changed them for another pair....he looks great ! And he hates these ones too (says they are flared!).. oh dear. Guess he doesn't have the shopping gene (geddit!) that our teenagers do!

The town centre is busy gearing up for the Hogmanay Celebrations. More scary rides have been built and a massive stage in the gardens. All ready for the TV cameras.

Back home - I tried them out on Jamie's Piri Piri recipe again. They didn't like it (but I thought it was delicious)....you just can't keep everyone happy !
