Proud Weegie

I want to ride my bicycle...I want to ride my bike

Quiet house - big 2 girls on sleepovers. Mr S at work. Only me and the puppy in the house.

Friday housework (no rest for the...) then I thought we both need some fresh air.

No 3 suggested a ride on her bike. Her saddle needs adjusted as she cycles with her knees under her chin...however I accidentally threw out the garage key last week (thinking it was an old one) - so until we can find someone to drill the lock off - the garage and contents are out of bounds.

It will probably snow now. As all the snow gear, Grit and the £17 imported-from-Canada-and-never-used snow shovel lives there too.

Nonetheless we headed for the canal. We had a great trip (she was cycling, I walked and blipped!) but once again- we went too far. And forgot about the gale force winds in our faces on the way back.

2 hours later we made it home ! She didn't complain (well - a bit at the end) - and we had to raise our sugar levels and prevent malnutrition setting in with a large glass of Irn Bru (made from girrrrders!) and Salt and vinegar crisps.

No exactly one of the food groups but I think we deserved it!
