Christmas Booty

Drove back to Weegie base camp through wind and rain. The girls were pleased to be reunited with all their other presents. No 2 was practising her gel nail skills on No 3 here. Although once she passes her apprenticeship we are supposed to pay her cash!

I did rather well from Santa. A Canon Speedlite 430 EXII, The Speedliters Handbook, and (at last) a shutter release cable for those night shots. If only the rain stopped I would go try them out.

Mr S told us this story about a recent train trip with No 3...at a train station loads of passengers got on who had obviously just been running a 10k. They had their 'foil' blankets around their shoulders....

No 3: (whispers) Dad....what are those people doing?
Mr S: They have been running a 10k.
(Silence)
No 3: (whispers) Dad....they're cheating!

No 3: is Jesus's second name Christ? Does that mean there was Mary Christ and Joseph Christ?
