Happy day!

Early in the morning we woke up as grandfather was worried as grandmum had disappeared... After a while thinking and discussing with grandpa we concluded that she had left to the christmas morning church. So we waited and there she had been. Came back after an hour, perky as a xmas elf ;)

I watched two movies with our teens: first some Wizards of Waverly Place movie and then Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit - movie;)

Raining all day, more or less. +4,8c in the morning! Grey clouds almost touching the trees and the crass is green and weeds brown. Not too christmassy outdoors, as there could be 50cm snow and -20c cool winter this time, but of course the christmas is a state of mind, really ;)... Made a short walk, knee is better already (but keeps me awake during nights).

In the evening we visited my hubbys's godmother. I had captured hubby's godfather's funeral with approx. 75 quests in autumn, and also had collected a book from the occasion for a salute for him. The book was directly posted to her, so today I first time was able to read the memorybook to J, who I always liked very very much. I was so - I mean SO - delighted to study the photoalbum: It really is and was shiny elegant memory for him, most of the shots were absolutely good or clever, even brilliant. Actually there was about 180 photos in the album and there was only 2 shots, that I did not like but was forced to use: Funeral here is not not the easiest happenings to shoot, you have to be eally awake to capture the situations and you have to stay far from the subject to salute the sorrow of relatives.

Proud about the memory book & happy about the day!
In the blip there is a godmother's candle.

I wonder if Santa claus has visited with many of the blippers?
