Christmas Eve Reflection

Lots of thoughts and memories today.

Horrid sadness keeps washing over me but gratitude and sheer joy for what I currently have is always with me.

I really enjoyed getting out and walking - almost properly - on the beach. It looked all beautiful and new.

Christmas preparations have gone far too well. It's all been too easy. I'm thinking I must have forgotten something really important.
