The little boy.

41 years ago today our youngest son J was on his way into the world!
Born at 5.30pm 23rd December 1972.

This photo was taken a couple of Christmases later sat with his elder brother A.. by the Christmas tree.

Yesterday evening he called round, and asked if there was any chance I could bake him one of my chocolate fudge cakes for his birthday!
( Sometimes I think he has never grown up!!)
So guess what mum has been doing this afternoon, and it is now iced and ready!

Anyhow the weather was so awful this afternoon, baking was a pleasant pastime.
