Just a hint of brightness.

Well it didn't rain, but the weather was very grey and overcast except for some brightness out over the sea.
Filey was very quiet.
Just a few dog walkers on the beach.
We met Mr C's cousin, her son, daughter-  in- law, and their dear little 4 week old baby boy.
After champagne aperitifs, we drove into Filey for a delicious lunch, at a hotel on the sea front, with a lovely view of the beach from our dining table by the window.
Now back home.
Just managed tea and mince pies before my Mr C's brother and wife left for home.
What a very enjoyable and relaxing day spent with relatives we don't see often.
Tomorrow the preparations for Christmas Day begin!
