The Graveyard Shift

took a run into town this afternoon, hubby dropped me off in the centre and then I walked back out towards the outskirts of the town, with the idea that hubby would pick me up on his way back home. As it was he rung just as got towards the edge of town and said he was on his way. We agreed to meet up at the cemetery purely for the reason that there is a big layby there where he could pull in safely. While I was waiting for him I took a couple of shots with my camera.

The forecast for the next couple of days is pretty horrific, winds up to 70mph locally and even stronger out in the Western Isles. We are lucky on Skye that we have a bridge that connects us to the mainland. I feel sorry for the people out in the Western Isles where there have been a lot of disruptions to ferries and given the forecast for the next couple of days I am sure there will be even more cancellations. Just hope everyone gets where they need to be for Christmas and that everyone stays safe. There have been additional ferry sailings today so hopefully that will help people trying to get places and also let essential supplies get to the islands.

Go large and will be able to see the Cuillin off in the distance!

I am away to look out torches and candles for tomorrow, in all likelyhood we will be getting power cuts!
