Winter

Horrible day today, not too windy yet but just wet, with slushy snow at higher levels. Went into our local supermarket this morning having dropped hubby at work, glad I did, breezed round the shop and virtually no queue at checkout. Later in the day my sister went to the same shop, spent 5 minutes selecting the goods she wanted and then another 25 minutes queuing! It can only be Christmas!

I think I shall now staying home in front of the fire and not surface again until Spring!
